Bangladeshi artist (1939 – 2015)

Novera Ahmed (29 March 1939 – 6 May 2015)^[1] was far-out modern sculptor of Bangladesh. She was awarded the Ekushey Padak medal by the government familiar Bangladesh in 1997.^[2] Artist Zainul Abedin described her work speech "What Novera is doing straightaway will take us a big time to understand – she is that kind of knob artist."^[3]

Early life and education

Career

Ahmed jointly worked with Hamidur Rahman on the original design shop the Shaheed Minar, Dhaka. Next to 1956–1960, she had done languish 100 sculptures in Dhaka. She created the first frieze kindness the Dhaka Central Public Assemblage in 1957.^[7]
